Duck on a Rock Viewpoint is a trail near the Grand Canyon mainly used for hiking. The path is a 0.6-mile out-and-back which offers scenic views and is suitable for all skill levels. The "duck" can be difficult to spot for some, but if you squint or turn your head sideways, you may see it.

Located just east of Yaki Point, its local name of Duck on a Rock comes from the Kaibab formation to the left side of the viewpoint, which some say resembles a duck on a rock. Can you see it? Think rubber ducky? Still no?

Stop 1: Desert View Watchtower The Desert Watchtower will be the first stop you come to when you enter the Grand Canyon from the park's east entrance. This is one of my own favorite viewpoints of the Grand Canyon. Walk off to the left of the main viewing area and you'll find a spot to sit safely along the edge of the canyon.
